Welcome to the home of Cambridge University Squash Racquets Club!
CUSRC organise three men’s and three women’s teams, who play in a variety of leagues and matches throughout the year, culminating with the Varsity Matches in February. The club also organises college squash leagues and the annual cuppers competition, ensuring everyone at Cambridge University has the opportunity to play competitive squash.
With around 50 teams and 200+ players, college squash is a great way of getting into squash at University. Many players progress from college squash to University level throughout their time in Cambridge.
A successful year in the 2018/19 season saw a mixed bagged for CUSRC. As usual the ladies smashed it against O****d, but the boys Varsity losses were tough to take. However, the other place aside, the season culminated in our men’s team being crowned County Cup champions for the THIRD year in a row. A wonderful departing gift for our old captain Luis. An exciting season lies ahead for all players in our three mens and ladies teams in the Cambridgeshire pyramid.
We have two fantastic coaches, Richard and Ali Loke (the former a legend in the Cambridge Racquet sports scene, the latter currently ranked 81 in the world and chopping people for fun). Our club is about developing players – why not see how good you could be?
